Your residents will walk down memory lane with Judy Garland singing ‘Over the Rainbow’ or Dean Martin crooning away to ‘That’s Amore’.
Our Celebrity Impersonators provide the music and sound. Each ‘Act’ will feature a full hour of popular songs made famous by the artist as well as a few standards from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
Our entertainers will also pose for pictures and sign autographs! Yesteryear has never felt more nostalgic - and your residents will truly feel ‘forever young ‘ as they spend some time with one of our Stars from the past.
Memory Care/Life Garden Residents
Special residents require special care. This includes musical entertainment! Studies have shown that music therapy and sound help to stimulate memory in Alzheimer and Dementia patients. Our entertainers are sensitive to this fact, and we will create a show allowing your special residents to sing along.
This includes famous songs from the 40’s, 50’s & 60’s. Perhaps Carmen Miranda will bring back a colorful memory from the age of the Silver Screen. Or Lucille Ball might get them laughing as she re-creates her ‘Vitametavegimen’ commercial!
Our ‘Acts’ are great for all areas of stimulating healthy brain activity - and your resident’s families will appreciate the one hour shows as well!
Skilled Nursing Home/Acute Care
Music Therapy is great for health and well-being, especially with Long-Term Care Residents. Our performers will take them back to yesteryear with some memorable & iconic tunes.
Carmen Miranda will delight everyone as she hands out mini maracas and small musical props. As they shake along to lively Brazilian music, your residents will be participating in a creative & active way. Activity Directors: This is a great way to add music therapy to your program.
